Patchings Art Festival and Painting Workshops update

Sorry you’ve not heard from me for a while – Life is starting to get back to normal at long last.

I’ll be at Patchings Art Festival again this week, from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th.  Hope some of you may be visiting. I’d be delighted if you come by and say hello. I’m on Stand 58 in the Painting Marquee.

I held a workshop last month with American watercolour artist Thomas Schaller tutoring a wonderful group of students. I’ll give a full report about that soon as well as what went on at Patchings.  In the meantime, here’s one of Tom’s paintings from the workshop, painted whilst fighting the elements.

I’ve also updated my website and started tweaking a few things.

Now on site, and in the shop, is a workshop tutored by my good friend Lea Nixon. Lea will visit Scotland next year and we’ll be based in the same hotel as Tom’s workshop. So we know how good that will be.
