Painting Holiday announcement and Patchings Art Festival

The Patchings Art Festival near Nottingham, England starts in just a few days and I am so looking forward to being a part of this wonderful event, now in its 22nd year I believe.

Everything is ready to build my stand, number 26 in the Painting & Glass Marquee, and I’m looking forward to meeting old friends and making some new ones amongst the artists taking part.

I also hope to meet some of you, if you can make it there, alongside the many thousands who come to enjoy a great day out.

Painting Holidays in 2017

I am pleased to announce two watercolour painting holidays have been arranged for next year.

The first takes place in April, with myself as instructor, in wonderfully scenic Wester Ross in the Scottish Highlands.  It’s going to be a brilliant week of painting and enjoying the company of fellow artists.

The second, in June, takes place in Fife, Scotland and is with American watercolourist Thomas W Schaller.  This is an incredible opportunity as Tom hasn’t visited Scotland before and is really looking forward to exploring this beautiful part of the country.
